Skin care programs offered at the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics are the

care. These skin care programs have been carefully designed to meet the current
consumer demand for personalized care and therapeutic treatment by highly
skilled skin care professionals.
The Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics currently offers five specialized courses:
300 Hour Basic Esthetics
The 300 HOUR BASIC ESTHETICS PROGRAM is designed to prepare the student for the Massachusetts State Board of Cosmetology Examination in Esthetics. This program provides the student with all necessary basic information, as required by the State, to operate as an entry level esthetician performing American or European Facial treatments, make-up artistry and hot wax depilation techniques.
600 Hour Advanced Esthetics
The 600 HOUR ADVANCED ESTHETICS PROGRAM is designed to prepare the student to perform comprehensive facial esthetic services. It provides proficiency in a number of esthetic treatments, such as collagen blanket facials, glycolic acid application, ultrasonic and compu-lift treatments, advanced extraction techniques, aromatherapy treatments for the skin and age management.
900 Hour Accelerated Advanced Esthetics
The 900 HOUR ACCELERATED ADVANCED ESTHETICS PROGRAM is designed to provide an overview of what can be expected in an advanced clinical setting. Students can expect to develop an understanding of advanced acne and age management treatments as well as corrective makeup.
900 Hour Spa Therapy Esthetics
The 900 HOUR SPA THERAPY ESTHETICS PROGRAM is designed to meet the increased market demand for total body esthetic services. Relaxation and detoxification body treatments are combined with all aspects of facial esthetic treatment theory to offer the most comprehensive body esthetic program available.
1200 Hour Master Esthetics
The 1200 HOUR MASTER ESTHETICS PROGRAM is designed to provide an overview of what can be expected in an advanced setting, bridging the gap between esthetic theory and treatment. Students can expect to develop an understanding of more advanced facial treatments and laser procedures as well as evaluate skin care products and ingredients.
